For 50 days the church celebrates Easter around the world in little and big ways.
Here at St. Joseph, we have our own mix of special events and ordinary activities tinged with Easter joy. Here are some highlights for the next several weeks:
- –The Divine Mercy novena runs from Good Friday through Sunday, April 24, when an afternoon program of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and vocal prayer concludes with the 6pm Spanish Mass that evening.
- –Easter Monday Mass (bilingual) at 9am outdoors. No evening activity at the parish.
- –Outdoor prayer, social and work activities around Earth Day (Friday, April 22)
- – Our NeXt Level team goes on retreat with the dozen other NeXt Level parishes in the New York-New Jersey area Friday, April 22-Sunday, April 24.
- –Sunday May 1: conclusion of our Parish Year of St. Joseph with a social gathering outside the church at 3pm, followed by a special Mass at 6pm, including reception of candidates for consecration to St. Joseph, the unveiling of our new 150th anniversary logo, and the beginning of preparations for the 150th year in 2026.
