Feast(s) of St. Joseph Inside and Outside the Church

In 2023, we’ll be celebrating our patron saint St. Joseph twice within a forty-day period.

His customary feast of March 19 has been pushed back one day this year because March 19 falls on a Lenten Sunday.  So instead, we’ll celebrate at 7pm on Monday, March 20 with a special bilingual Mass.   An informal parish social is planned for after the Mass, and a bilingual parish Vespers will precede the Mass at 6:30pm.

In recent years, we’ve also been celebrating the feast of St. Joseph the Worker, which falls on May 1 annually.  This year, however, we will combine our celebration of St. Joseph the Worker with the blessing of our new parish community garden, which will be the work of many parishioners’ hands.  On Saturday, April 29, we’ll have a Mass at 10am, including the garden blessing, and a social afterwards.

All are invited to either or both of this events in honor of our wonderful patron, St. Joseph.
