Four Days of July

Four consecutive days in July — Thursday, July 22 through Sunday, July 25 — find us celebrating a fascinating mix of themes, cultures and people.

We begin the foursome with our monthly St. Sharbel Mass for Healing on Thursday, July 22 at 7pm.  As always, this Mass is bilingual and the Sacrament of Anointing is freely offered.

On Friday, July 23, again at 7pm, we celebrate the vigil of the Feast of St. Sharbel, but we will do so in the Maronite Rite and in Spanish.  We expect to be joined by music ministers and clergy from St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Parish in Somerset, NJ for this extraordinary event.

Saturday, July 24 finds us looking south to Oaxaca, Mexico, and joining in solidarity with the Feast of Our Lord of All Hearts.  There will be a 2pm Spanish Mass, and before and after there will be opportunities for food and fellowship.

Pope Francis has called the church to celebrate Grandparents and the Elderly on Sunday, July 25, and we will do so with blessings at all of our Sunday Masses. In addition, at 5pm on July 25, we will hold a “Christmas in July” concert to precede the 6pm Mass.
