For this patronal feast spanning the May 1-2 weekend, we will honor those whose important and essential work mirrors that of St. Joseph the Carpenter, the Worker. We will also lift up the aspirations of those who yearn to work hard and legally in the United States. Here are the details of our celebrations and workshop:
Saturday, May 1 at 10:00am: bilingual Mass to mark the feast of St. Joseph the Worker, with blessings of all essential and frontline workers.
Sunday, May 2: blessing of all essential and frontline workers during all Masses.
Sunday, May 2 at 2:30pm in the church: Immigration Outreach event led by Mr. Jarteau Israel, former longtime director of immigration services for Catholic Charities and now an independent immigration law practitioner.
