Emergency Roof Repair Needed; Capital Campaign Funds Already Put Into Play

Heavy rains during the last week of May wreaked havoc on a failing portion of our church roof above the tabernacle.  The leak poured water on the tabernacle itself and the surrounding area, forcing us to wrap the repository in plastic, and to move a temporary tabernacle to a safer location.

At the same time, because of the dire situation with that area, we have contracted with our parish roofer to provide a permanent repair to that small portion of the roof.  This begins to put our capital campaign funds to their stated use with a portion of the overall roof repair complete, hopefully within the next several weeks.

Thanks to our generous parishioners without whom we would not be able to undertake this small emergency project!  For those who have not made their pledge to the capital campaign, you can do so at any time, and for your convenience another «in-pew» pledge weekend will be held the weekend of June 21-22.
