27 parish youngsters are all set to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the church on Friday evening, Sept. 25 at 7pm.   The two-year preparation process gained further intensity over this summer, when the candidates attended four special Monday night sessions covering various aspects of the sacrament, and a Sept. 11 Confirmation Retreat led by our former staff member Valeria Morales.

A handful of our candidates are already involved in church ministry and service, and our hope for these youngsters is that the fruits of the Spirit may be realized in them with greater participation in the life of the church.

Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will dwell in a special way in these youngsters in coming days as they receive the sealing of the Spirit in Confirmation.  «Come, Holy Spirit!»
