We recently topped the $400,000 mark in pledges and we are a little more than 80% toward our goal of $500,000. We have received more than $160,000 in cash-in-hand and that puts us on schedule to meet the three-year commitment to fulfill your pledge.  Thanks to everyone who has been so generous during this drive.

Letters have gone out with reminders of the status of your pledges; there have been a few mathematical errors in aligning pledge amounts with what was actually pledged…our apologies for any errors!

If you have not yet made a pledge, please consider doing so as your individual circumstances allow. It is never too late to join the campaign and no amount is too small to help us reach our $500,000 goal. If you have pledged, you can make a payment at any time. All Capital Campaign donations will be added to the money already in-hand and enable us to start work on much-needed repairs to the parking lot and roof, our first priorities, and then the sound and HVAC systems.

As of August 21, we have received 3 updated bids from contractors for the parking lot, and are in process for doing the same for the roof.   With those bids in hand, we will then calculate to see if we have the mandatory 70% of cash available to cover both projects, and then proceed with formal permission from the Diocese of Metuchen College of Consultors.

You can contribute to the campaign anonymously if you prefer. Simply indicate on an envelope that you wish your donation to go to the Capital Campaign, drop it in the collection basket at mass and it will be deposited into a separate bank account solely for the purpose of maintaining and improving the church and surrounding grounds. Money donated to the Capital Campaign will not be used for normal operating expenses. You can drop off donations at the office if it is more convenient.
