Ways To Give
More than two dozen of our young parishioners are in the final stages of preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, to be received during the Eucharist on Friday, Sept. 25 at 7pm. The youth have completed a special four-part summer series of classes, are in the midst of completing their service hours and paperwork, and what remains on their to-do list is their Confirmation retreat (Sept. 11) and rehearsal (Sept. 20).
Let us pray for these youngsters, their parents and sponsors, that the Holy Spirit will fill their hearts with love, and that, as newly-confirmed members of our parish, they will begin to exert more servant leadership among the many opportunities to do so.
