Parish Picnic August 30 on Church Grounds

Our final scheduled event to celebrate our 150th Anniversary will occur Sunday, August 30, at approximately 1:30pm (or just after the completion of the 12 noon Mass), when parishioners will host a parish picnic, celebrating our diversity in food and cultures.  It’s a “pot-luck” event, where parishioners are welcome to bring and share dishes that represent your heritage and culture.  There will be sign-up sheets available the weekend of August 22-23 to get a sense of the kind and quantity of food that will be arriving.

If you contribute to the picnic, also let us know the ingredients.

There are other ways to be involved.  We are collecting donations towards supplies or food if needed. We are also in need of Plates, Napkins and stenos to heat the food.  Or you can bring a can or box of food for the local food bank.

Rain date is the following Sunday, Sept. 6.

We hope to see a good number and good mix of parishioners!
