Over the remaining weeks of the summer season, St. Joseph will honor patronal feasts for Mexico (Oaxaca), Costa Rica, Guatemala and Slovakia.
On Saturday, July 25, we will celebrate “The Lord of All Hearts” at the 7pm Mass. This feast is dear to those from the state of Oaxaca in Mexico.
The following weekend, we will honor Our Lady of the Angels, the patronal feast of Costa Rica. There will be a special 2pm Mass, followed by food and fellowship.
On Saturday, August 15, though not a holy day of obligation in the United States this year, we will have special festivities surrounding the Guatemalan patronal feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the 7pm Spanish Mass.
And, finally, for our handful of Slovak parishioners, the 8:30am daily Mass on Tuesday, Sept. 15 will be bilingual (English-Slovak), in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows.
