November is the month of the faithful departed, and here at the parish we have three special days to join in prayerful remembrance.
Wednesday, November 1 is All Saints’ Day, where the church remembers all the known and unknown saints. We have holy day Masses at 8:30am and 12noon in English and 7pm in Spanish.
Thursday, November 2 is All Souls’ Day, where all the faithful departed are remembered. We have our regular 8:30am/7pm weekday schedule, but we encourage folks to participate in a 9:30am Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, led by our pastor.
Saturday, November 11 is Veterans Day, and we will have an 11am Mass at our parish cemetery to remember deceased veterans. Our 5pm Mass that night is when we will remember those who have died within the past year within the parish community.
